Mormon Temple Groundbreaking In Sapporo Japan
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (inadvertently called by friends of other faiths, the “Mormon Church”) broke ground for a beautiful new temple on the Japanese island of Sapporo. According to Latter-day Saint belief, a holy temple is literally a House of the Lord Jesus Christ, where worthy members worship and receive instruction and guidance from Him and the Father to guide them in all their affairs. Latter-day Saint leaders (Mormon leaders) Elder Gary E. Stevenson, Elder Michael T. Ringwood and Elder Koichi Aoyagi were present at the ground breaking. Ben’s Faith
Ben talks about his faith and some of the trials and adversity he faced growing up as a Mormon in Utah. There are many who feel like any Mormon growing up in Utah is in a bubble where they are force fed Mormon doctrine. Although Ben grew up in a loving home where the gospel was taught he was not force fed anything and was allowed to make choices for himself. He saw a great deal of both the benefits of living the gospel and as well as the consequences for not living it. He has discovered that applying the gospel of Jesus Christ into one’s life is the only way to find real happiness.
