Throughout his life, Jesus Christ performed many, many miracles. He healed men and women from leprosy, restored sight to the blind, cast out unclean spirits from mortal bodies, and even infused physical life back into the dead. Accompanying many—if not most—of these tangible miracles was the pronouncement, “Thy sins be forgiven thee” (Luke 5:20; Matthew 9:2; Mark 2:5).
